Jacket loaded forSP torch 13C
The executive for development plan of South Pars Gas Field’s Phase 13 announced that loading operation of a jacketfor Torch 13C of the fieldis finalized inSadra Yard.
The three-legged jacket for Torch C, with 446 tons in weight and 69 meters of height, was loaded on Saturday on Artemis Bargeby the HL-5000 offshore crane, said PayamMotamed.
Upon finalization of bracing operation of the jacket within the next two days, Sadra boats will install it, he said while referring to the loading and bracing operations of the 462-ton piles on the barge done last week.
Installing the jacket is an effective step in finalizing offshore phase of the plan, he explained, “gas production from sections B and D is top priority of the development plan of South Pars Phase 13.
Installation of the jacket for section D torch was finalized today, Motamed added.
Offshore platforms of the Phase 13 are completed by 85 percent, with platforms B and D to be installed in the areas by the yearend according to the contractor’s pledge.
Phase 13 Development Plan aims to extract 56 million cubic meters of sour gas from the shared field and produce 50 million cubic meters of methane, 2900 tons of LPG, 2750 tons of ethane, 75,000 barrels of gas condensates and 400 tons of sulfur per day. A consortium, consisting of Petropaydar Iranian, Mapna and Sadra, is responsible for executing the plan.
