Maintaining Production, POGC priority for winter
Maintaining of gas production is the company’s top priority for winter,managing director of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) said on Wednesday, stressing all operational and production management should be in line with this objective.
Speaking at a meeting with operations and support deputies as well as production and operations senior managers in Assaluyeh, Mohammad Meshkin Famsaid, “due to the rise in the country’s gas consumption in winter, maintaining of gas production is a top priority for production and operations management and all relevant departments should focus on this goal.”
“At present a few platforms have not been given to the production and operations management,” he said while considering the delivery of these platforms to the employers as a main factor to resolve possible problems and challenges which accelerate the delivery and development of the platforms.
On a two-day trip to Assaluyeh,heinspected the progress ofthe ongoing projects in South Pars gas field.
During this trip, Mohammad Meshkin Fam on Tuesday checked the progress of the development projects in phases 13, 14, 22, 23 and 24, as well as Tombak service and export port and the power station 132/400 in South Pars region.
Following his visit to different sections of the refineries in these phases, the project operators and contractors of the South Pars development plansexplained the latest advances and developments of the projects.
After meeting operations and support deputies including all operators, deputies and managers of POGC, Meshkin Famalso inspected the progress of the construction operation of a combined cycle power plant and centralized storage facilities in South Pars region.
