SP mega-projects strengthened POGC's position
Assaluyeh - National Iranian Oil Company's deputy in development and engineering affairs stated that pars oil and gas company (POGC) has been able to strengthen its own position by implementing south pars development plans.

It has grown into a mature company that not only dominates the operational procedures of the projects, but also it has demonstrated its competitiveness and knowledge in launching and operating offshore sectors.
Referring to significant activities in south pars mega-projects, in a meeting with the participation of employer and contractors, Gholam Reza Manouchehri declared major activities have been carried out in Assaluyeh over the past few months. But based on POGC's commitment, this company will have the busiest working days in next 3 months, public relations reported.
Considering desirable progress made in constructing remaining platforms at SADRA, he said some of these platforms will provide the country with winter gas as installed and launched.
From management's perspectives, POGC started its cooperation with Eni and Total companies as an employer organization and official observer on buy-back contracts. But in subsequent contracts like that of phases 6-7-8,it took part in constructing onshore and offshore sectors due to dispersion of work.
To complete development path ahead, the official mentioned that this company requires planningfor processes modification, further studies in the area of reservoir engineering, utilization of technology and equipment, and movement toward physical systems evolution. From now on, a program should be planned to maintain and sustain production in the future and prevent the field from pressure drop.
