SP13; 56 MCM sour gas to be sweetened
ASSALUYEH – director of phase13, PayyamMotamed, announced that this project will start to produce 56 MCM of sweet gas a day in mid-February.

As the latest activities on a 32-inch pipeline to onshore completedby the next week, the extracted gas will be initially delivered from the platform B then D after an interval of 10 days.PayyamMotamed was quoted by public relations as sayings.

Beside the first and second trains which were already producing sweet gas by the rich gas from the phases 6-7-8, the third and fourth trains will receive their own from the platforms B and D. Consequently, all four trains are operational in the late February.

Given the preparedness of offshore sector, new units including gas condensate stabilization unit, gas condensate stabilization support, storage tanks will become ready to receive gas in the refinery. With the arrival of sour gas, condensate is one of new products that is stored in storage tanks.

Referring to ethane production, he said this unit has already been commissioned and connected to ethane transfer pipeline from the region "Pars 2" to petrochemical complex.

It is worth noting that one of four sulfur recovery rows is now under implementation and prevents more than 600 tons of gas from burning by the flares.

By operating offshore sector and completing half of production chain, phase13 has started to process the received gas from the sea. So the targeted products will emerge soon.

Phase13 aims to produce 56 MCM of rich gas, 50 MCM of methane, 2900 tons of LPG, 2750 tons of ethane, 75000 barrels of condensate and 400 tons of sulfur a day.
