SPD14; last deck loaded out
BUSHEHR – the last deck belonging to phase 14 was loaded out from SADRA yard to deliver and install on common reservoir.

The operation is an important step in completing the offshore part of South Pars Phase 14 development plan.
 SPD14 is the last deck of phase 14 which has the capability to generate 500 million cubic feet (14.2 million cubic meters) per day.

By installing and operating platform 14D, offshore part of phase 14 will reach its total capacity, namely 2 billion cubic feet of sour gas a day. Chief in charge of developing platforms D and C of phase 14, Reza Gharibi was quoted by public relations as saying.

Referring to 98 percent progress made in constructing the deck 14D at the yard of SADRA, Gharibi said the deck weighing 2400 tons is carried by carrier vessel FLB124 and installed by HL5000 if the weather condition permits.

All operations such as construction, loading, and sea fastening of 14D were performed by the attempts of experts and executive team in contractor side under the complete supervision of quality control systems in employer side.It is worth mentioning that the deck involves 80km of electrical cabling and 37-inch-diameter plumbing in its construct.

According to Gharibi, side structures of 14D consist of a connecting bridge and a flare weighing 270 and 110 tons respectively. They were built at SADRA and are shipped to the location along with the deck.
