South pars phase13: marine pipelaying operations for second line finalized

ASSALUYEH – marine pipelaying operations for the second main line ended in phase 13, the director of this development plan announced.

Having completed the first main and satellite pipeline for the phase13 in early summer, pipelaying operationsfor the second main line was immediately started by the pipelayer vessel called "Sea Master",PayyamMotamed was quoted by public relations department as saying.
Piplayingoperations for the second marine line successfully ended in a safe condition without any incident under the umbrella of joint cooperation of all groups involved in this sector including the employer and contractors. These operations lasted for 73 days in a difficult condition of the sea with the record of 200,000 man day work.
Implementing the pipeline between platforms A and C, the delivery of 2 billion cubic feet of sour gas to onshore refinery will be possible.
phase13 has been designed to produce 56 million cubic meters of sour gas, 50 million cubic meters of methane, 2900 tons of liquefied gas and 400 tons of sulfur a day.
